Herndon, VA — One
of the Metropolitan Washington Area's region's fastest-growing
information security and information assurance consulting firms has launched an ambitious new branding and communication
campaign to create greater visibility with prospective clients in the private
and public sectors. According to SecureIT's president, David Trout, the campaign
will include entirely new messaging, from the company's logo and website to all
of the other tools the company uses to communicate with clients.
In addition to
the new graphic treatment of the company's name and image, the
company has acquired a simpler domain name (www.secureit.com). Another aspect
of change at the five-year-old company is the refocus of the way it describes
its services to address the most pressing concerns of clients.
One of the most
significant changes will be in the way SecureIT makes the case for serving as
a liaison between IT functions within an organization and its various internal
and external auditors. "We see this function playing a more
and more critical and valuable role for our clients," explains Trout. "Traditionally, the
IT and auditing functions have had their own priorities, processes, and even
terminology. Our firm plays a unique role by minimizing the distractions for
the internal IT staff, while providing more efficient and effective information
and responses to auditing entities."
Another driver for the company's new communication
campaign is that the field of information security has undergone a fundamental evolution
since the company was founded. "As
a result," Trout notes, "we need to be sure that our material speaks to the most
pressing concerns of clients in today's marketplace. We're also working to better
convey the broad scope of industries and experience we bring to the table."
SecureIT helps private and public sector clients manage technology
risks and create value through effective practices in IT audit, technology risk,
and information security. The firm's professionals offer technical expertise,
managerial skills, and knowledge of industry best practices to protect clients
and their operations.
