Information Assurance Analyst

Position Summary
Provides direct support for organizing, planning, implementing and maintaining the Cyber security program of Federal government agencies. Senior level personnel provide information assurance and cyber security leadership and direction on the team.
Responsibilities
Individuals support the Project Manager and Technical Lead in conducting wide range of information security, information assurance and compliance activities that include:
- Security program development, policy development and maintenance
- System security planning and documentation
- Assist development and operations teams with security control implementation
- Security testing, control testing and assessment per NIST SP 800-53A
- Certification and accreditation (C&A) of agency systems per NIST SP 800-37
- Security configuration assessment, management and reporting
- Security training program development, management and reporting
- Provide security impact assessments as part of change management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual FISMA reporting
Position Requirements
- Mid level: 2 - 4 years of progressive experience supporting information technology projects related to information and computer security
- Senior level: 5 – 8 years of progressive experience supporting information technology projects related to information and computer security
- Prior demonstrated ability to assess systems and processes for compliance with information security rules and standards
- Prior demonstrated ability to implement information technology processes and procedures, especially those pertaining to information security
- Current active security clearance
- U.S Citizenship
- Bachelors Degree
