American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council
The American Council for Technology (ACT) - Industry Advisory Council (IAC) is a non-profit, public-private partnership dedicated to improving government through the application of information technology. ACT-IAC provides an objective, ethical and trusted forum where government and industry exchange information and collaborate on technology issues in the public sector. ACT and IAC work together to address government IT issues. SecureIT personnel are active and have leadership roles in Special Interest Groups for Cloud Computing, Information Security & Privacy, Networks and Telecommunications, and Collaboration & Transformation.

AFCEA supports global security by providing an ethical environment that encourages a close cooperative relationship among civil government agencies, the military and industry.

INFOSEC Assurance Training and Rating Program
NSA's IATRP Program sets the standards for INFOSEC Assurance services through the INFOSEC assurance methodologies (INFOSEC Assessment Methodology, INFOSEC Evaluation Methodology), trains and certifies individuals in the methodologies, and rates INFOSEC Assurance organizations through the use of a standard metric INFOSEC Assurance - Capability Maturity Model (IA-CMM).

InfraGard is an information sharing and analysis effort serving the interests and combining the knowledge base of a wide range of members. At its most basic level, InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector. InfraGard is an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.
