SecureIT Executive Elected Vice Chair for Industry Advisory Council Special Interest Group

Reston, VA, – Jim Graham, Senior Vice President of SecureIT, was recently elected as the Vice Chair of Information Security & Privacy SIG for 2010. Mr. Graham was the committee lead for Security Governance in 2009 and has been a member of IAC for many years. In 2009, Mr. Graham moderated and participated in panel discussions on the security and privacy opportunities and concerns associated with cloud computing as well as the future of cyber security.

The Industry Advisory Council (IAC) was created in 1989 by the ACT Board of Directors to provide an objective and vendor-neutral forum for obtaining advice from the private sector IT industry. The mission of IAC is to bring industry and government executives together to exchange information, support professional development, improve communications and understanding, solve issues and build partnership and trust, thereby enhancing government’s ability to serve the nation’s citizenry. IAC is organized around special interest groups (SIG) of which one is Information Security & Privacy.
